Gliding Instruction

Dual instruction in the MDM-1 Fox is available either in Eskilstuna or outside Sweden.

Typically the cost for one instruction sortie in the Fox, including Instructor and Aircraft, is 40€ plus the tow. The current cost for towing and accommodation in Eskilstuna can be found at http://www.efk.nu/. In 2012 the tow to 1200m was 35€ and to 1500 m 45€. The bed in a camping cottage at the club was 35€ per night or 260€ per week for a whole two man cottage. Membership for the day was 12€ and 60€ for the week.

The training will be cheaper in Sweden compared with most European countries due to the low tow plane cost in Sweden.

Competition coaching in the MDM-1 Fox is available either in Eskilstuna or outside Sweden. I have competed in WAGAC 2010, 2011 and 2012 with Team Silver as the best result. I have also become Swedish Champion and Nordic Champion. I can train you from basic competition level and up to International Advanced level in my Aerobatic Fox glider.

In Eskilstuna you can also fly the ASK21 or Pilatus B4. Do not forget to validate your license with the Swedish Soaring Association before arrival if you want to go solo.
